It's a girl!
Brian's Ornythion Swallowtail emerged, a perfect female! We were comparing notes and between us we've seen four Ornythions. All have been females. I want our New Year's resolution to be to see a male Ornythion. That means time in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Brian got horribly bitten by mosquitoes and chiggers while he was there last month, but I'm sure that's all forgotten now that he has his perfect specimen. I share his excitement!
